1GA/2GA Submersible Grinder Pump

The Goulds 1GA and 2GA Submersible Grinder Pumps are capable of grinding municipal, commercial, and industrial sewage and is designed to reduce sewage to a fine slurry. This pump has a cast iron, semi-open impeller with a non-overloading multi-vane design with pump-out vanes for mechanical seal protection. The casing is cast iron, volute type for high efficiency and is adaptable for side rail systems. A small float leakage internal sensor float switch is used to detect the presence of water in the stator chamber. When activated this sensor will cause the patented 24 volt MiniCAS monitoring relay to signal an alarm and, if desired, stop the pump. This pump is specifically designed for highhead and pressure sewage systems for municipal, commercial, and industrial use
